Flight to Honor
The first “all FEMALE” Flight to Honor
When: MARCH 11th, 2026
Where: Flight originating from Lakeland Linder Airport
Who: Flight is open to ALL current GFWC Florida
veteran members who served in any branch of service for any length of time.
How Many: 172 seats available on flight
How Much: Cost for one Veteran: $900 (at no cost to them)
What is Planned: The veterans will embark on a one-day trip to Washington, D.C. which includes a visit to The WWII Memorial, The Korean War Memorial, The Lincoln Memorial and The Vietnam Wall Memorial as well as a trip to Arlington National Cemetery to see the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Veterans will be welcomed home with a celebration that can be
attended by everyone. Hotel the night before and after flight, all meals, and flight are covered.
